First something about the origination of this family tree. Some years ago, by coincidence I came in contact with Peter Nugter, who had sent me a email to ask if maybe we could be family. On that moment I only knew two Peter Nugter's, my brother and a nephew. So I was surprised to see that a third Peter Nugter existed. In my family no one knew the third Peter Nugter. Coincidently I ran into Gerard Beets, who's grandmother is a Nugter and was investigating the family tree. After a lot of research the third Peter Nugter appeared to be a member of tree of Gerard Beets. In that time it was not know that those two tree where related. In the meantime this is confirmed. We now publish the third version which is investigated by Gerard Beets and Reynold Nugter. Anyone who reads this and has supplements, please let us know so the family tree can grow.

Born from a relation of mother Dieuwertje Weel with Simon Nugterer
At birth father entered as unknown but given the name of the
father. According to the law in those days the child of which the father was unknown was given the name of the
mother. Simon, however, was given the name Nogteren and therefore must be named after the
father. In those days everybody new everything about each other, especially in the small
villages, that way it was possible to give Simon the name of the father even without
recognition of the father
On the birth certificate of Simon Nugter (1819) are both the names of the father Simon Nugter and the mother Dieuwertje Weel. Also there is the name of a witness
which is very hard to read
Although the certificate is very hard to read I assume that the present of these names is enough to consider the relation as proofed, son of Simon NUGTER
(see also III.2) and Dieuwertje WEEL.
